Poem -

What Surrounds Me

Looking at the ocean,
The waves moving in on swift motion,
The rough, but soft sand under my bare feet,
I find a dry log for a seat,
I stare at the never ending water,
Looking down to maybe find a sand dollar,Ā
Listening to the wind blow frantically through my ears,
I feel like I could stay here for years,Ā
Occasionally getting my feet wet,
Admiring the orange and pink sunset,
Just loving what surrounds me,
Being here will always makes me feel freeĀ
