What the world lost

The world lost your laugh;
A laugh you could hear for miles;

The world lost your smile;
A smile that always warmed people's hearts; A smile that was contagious even on gloomy days;

The world lost a ray of sunshine;
A world now dimmer and colder without you; Darkness in the place you used to shine;

The world lost alot of strength; Strength that lasted years;

The world lost a warrior;
A warrior warrior who won many battles and does not have to fight anymore;

The world gained many things in replacement; Broken hearts that still beat; tired, red eyes of many broken souls;

And yet the world keeps turning, Spinning with less meaning than before;

Before it lost you.

Heaven gained more sunshine;
Another angel flew through the gates; He watches the ones he loves from up above, waiting from them to join him;

The world lost many things; Things that will never be the same; Changing everything forever; A gloomier world without you.
