What would you do if this was your last day to live?
What would you do if this was your last day to live? I would express to my family how much I love them. I wouldn't say things that might hurt my children's feelings. I would take the time to enjoy my day and not stress about meaningless things such as: scolding my two girls about their untidy room, telling them to practice reading and writing. I wouldn't emphasis that too much if it was my last day to live. I would give my kids quality time by really listening to what they have to say.
I wouldn't go to work the next day. I would send out a couple of emails to important people and make sure that I ate a really good meal. Finally, me and my kids would say our final prayer together and afterwards I would tell them I am dying and to remember the things that I taught them. I will always love you my dearest children. I want you to become successful in life so remember to always seek God, study hard, enjoy life, travel the globe and make a difference in the world. Wow this is powerful, gives me food for thought. I would spend every minute with the people I love, my family.
Family in the end is everything, wisdom and imagionation help us to see what is important and imagion how a future together will be better, even if it is not on this earth. I would try to imagion seeing my children and family again in a better world, and I would spend every secound with them on my last day on earth.
The darkest hours is just before the brightest of dawns this is what i would tell my children. :)

I am flattered with your comment and in fact, did read your prelude, to your last day on this earth, and the most pressing things to have been done before it's unveiling, just yesterday and wondered how i would respond to and before my departure.If everyone did not have the same sentiments as you on this final day of existence, well then they have no heart and no sense of belonging, to anyone nor anything. Just as you, my major factors would be addressed placed into perspective, given all of my earthly attention and pay homage to the one above in full fledged respect and realize deep within, i had done all that i was placed on this earth to do and for whom and then would wait with serene ambitions within the confineds of my loved ones, on what my next task from God, would unfold, after my anticipated departure, from this world to my next existence. Really loved how honest and deep you placed yourself in this poem and the sincerity you placed in your thought process while manifesting it and delivering it to your many readers......This would be a great wish as well as a powerfully delivered poem as well... Great job with this one and with it,you gave too us, your pure hearted and honest revelation, to it's what if....

This would be a hard day to have to swallow and as stated by Louise, the darkest part of the night, is the earliest part of the day but just as day turns to night and night to day,there is an ending point, just as our lives, thrust into one big evolving cycle, waiting patiently, for its finale destination.
