You are the reason why

I wake up every day to try

To make the most of every hour

You have, over me, a great power !

My life was full of pain and sadness

In fact, it was a complete and utter mess

You took my hand and led me to the light

You taught me  how to fight !

I learnt how to have fun and appreciate

What it is about this life that is great

You were the saviour of my soul

You, the one, that repaired a gaping hole !

Now, I am fully free of all that misery
