What You Mean To Me

Life has dealt me some severe blows

When will there be more, who knows ?

I do know that I want you to understand

That when I hold your hand

It makes me so utterly content 

There is no reason to lament !

I take this chance to make you see

What you have and do mean to me

That, if you were to depart my world

The fabric of my existence would be unfurled

Life, for me, would come to a standstill,

There is no way I could take that bitter pill
