Poem -

What's in a Name?

What's in a Name?

You have the same name,

Those six letters I have always been familiar with.

You have become close to me,

As he did,

Or at least he tried to.

You have the same name.

The name that will always be engraved in my memory;

Which I thought was for the worse,

But you came along,

With the same name, encapsulating an entirely different attitude.

You came along, and made me remember the name for the better.

Jessica,

Each name contains and boast its own story, even if it is the same name, although attached to two totally separate people...

Kind Regards

You are absolutely correct. This poem was inspired by the coincidental fact that the person I have gotten close with happens to have the same name as someone who was apart of my past. Thanks for your input as always :)
