What's the price?

They say love don't cost a thing, but more and more I find myself asking, "What's the price?". You see, I try going about obtaining your heart in a more conventional method, by just using words that come into my mind. To describe a woman of your magnificent beauty, it takes more than mere words, there's a price to be paid, so I'm asking, "What is it?" Money, I have none, but if I did, I do not believe I would have enough to purchase your undying love an devotion. Extravagant gifts, I have none, but I could only wonder, "What has man made that could be valuable enough to obtain a heart that is pure as gold?" They say diamonds are a girls best friend but can this friend purchase the love that I desire from you, or will it just be make believe, a figment of my imagination that has me caught up in a surreal place in time, that will never be true.
So I sit and ponder over this one question that keeps popping upin my head, "What's the price?". Rubies, sapphire, or perhaps even an emerald. Could any of these precious gems equal or add up to the equivalent of the love that comes from a person' s heart? I should think not, because that love is everlasting and it won't corrode or rust away with time. You see, with time two people that love from the heart, only makes their love stronger. So I guess the answer to my question is, "There is no price you could ever pay for, true unconditional love, unless you pay with your heart or your life. But still we ask, "What's the price?".
