Poem -

When

When

(Inspired by the poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling)

When you have trouble when you try,

And walk to follow those who ran.

When you hit the ground and have a cry

But then get up and say "I can!"

When you judge yourself by what others do

And see using what others saw,

When you stop, and see potential in you

And judge yourself by what you did before.

When you keep your emotions in a bottle

But then channel them into creation,

When you let your feelings go full throttle

And let anger be your motivation.

When you can beat the bullies causing you to break

And discard the friends of toxic strife,

When yourself a hero you can make,

Then you will win your game of life.
