When Everything Glows but Me
From my Raven Collection
I can't believe I'm sitting
writing yet another poetry installment
about my utter feelings of loss
I'm completely in the dark
the dark within myself
I don't know how to crack open my shell
I don't know if I will ever
really find myself?
this time it's different
It's not about the grief I hold for others
this grief is for me
and I don't know...
If I will ever see the light?

The good thing about being in total darkness is that it's easier to see a light. I urge you to seek that light, it does exist, light a candle, utter the Lords words, seek wisdom and understanding from God, not the God that humanity has been made to believe but the God in you, he is searching for you aswell, he is lost aswell, invite the light in, it needs permission, pray, find a temple, find a place you can go and just listen.
When I'm feeling like no one loves me, like no body cares, i sit in a church not to far from my home, put on my headphones and listen to Celine dion, 2 songs, Ave Maria and call the man, these are powerful tools that you can use to summon the light, love and the sacred blood.
I will pray for you and for anyone who asks me to and please pray for me too. We can pray together.

Dear Shirley, finding yourself in the darkness is a horrible thing to experience. And I am sorry that you are experiencing it. On the plus side (every cloud and all that) the darkness is the perfect place to find poems. I hope you're okay. Message me anytime you feel you need a chat.
