Poem -

When Fear of Sorrow Dies

When fear of sorrow dies

Her eyes are fire
Transcending life
Her name on desperate throne,
And through the ire
He clings to strife
Her touch, the wanderers home.

Pain killed the song
He whispers still
What quiet lonely feeling,
A light in throng
His want, her will
A hopeless love concealing.

A thousand hearts
Each flawed and broke
To chance again, sweet risk,
Two halves are parts
That love had spoke
Then silenced with a kiss.

What dreams til dawn
Returns alone
A thorn where rose once grew,
When faith is gone
Once light is shone
Upon a love that's new.

Who's touch is sweet
And angels gaze
On her with jealous eyes,
That we might meet
Our hearts ablaze
When fear of sorrow dies.
