Poem -

WHEN GOD PUTS ON THE BRAKES

While gray daylight spread over the valley
Three unbroken colts jumped and whinnied, maniacally
Enraged by the giant clouds
Which spat thunderbolts down upon them

Behind them an army of wailing wolves
Shot fear darts through their minds
Creating a fantastical frenzy
When my son Griffin, came down, from the sky

"You shall not pass this way again my friends,
Perhaps you should stay here for a while,
I'm expecting what might have been."
Then BANG, the lightning had left them for dead.........
