When Heaven's Light Has Faded

i live lightyears away
from the impact zone
of when you first came
into our fleshly terrain
there is a slik thread
of hope that lingers
on the air in the shaddow
of an imperceptable molecule
that touched your body once
i know not whether it rubbed
upon your hebrew skin
or if it passed through you
breathed vitally within
i know not if it passed by a miracle
or the telling of a parable
or if it pressed into your carcass
already sacrificed at the cross
though it be so stretched
and all men deny it
that you were ever here
i dare to grasp that elusive fibre
it is the rope of my very life
what a privilege and blessing
to live within this current age
where your name's still known
and on your promises sure
i'll have the gall to rest my hope
like blowing a wish
to the golden sun

Thank you so much! Bless you! :D
Bless you Cherie. I belive his presence is still in the world, but there are times the spirit feels a bit dry and less full. This poem speaks into that space ... helps me hold on in those rocky patches.
