When I Become A Star

When I Become A Star

I am drenched in romance
all my life I seek its fragrance
so much to give
so much needed
Guided by lights
of countless stars
I see the translucence
of her beauty
Deeper than the skin
inside her where the soul exist
it laps on my bare feet
like the waves on the sea shore
Full of belief in true love
of one soul one mate
Now my years are fading
yet still I seek
its elusive attraction
When I die I will be a
nameless star
peeking from the heavens
seeing a first kiss
and smiling at its
graceful bounty
