When I First Held The Light

When I First Held The Light

 Love Reigned,

Down from an unnaturally lit room

Chaos

Replaces thoughts of romance

Excitement builds

.........And builds

Eyes have no use for lids

Time.....has no revelance at the moment

Only later is it relative, to family history

Joy overcomes me

A hard figure unable

To fight against the squall of tears,

Honored to be first in calling you by name

That pureness, cleansing soul

A go to memory

Memories are lucky for me

I held the light,

Times three.

Hey D!!.........there are a couple of lines in there that I believe had a hidden meaning for you.......but I agree with PURPLE.........it does read like this was aimed at the joy you find in the girls in your life.........gorgeous.......I liked the way you used "Reigned" in your opening.........great read........peace bro!..........T xo

Yo big bro, thanks man! It was in no means a hidden theme, It was anout the first time I held my children the feelings I felt which is like holding that light of goodness that lifts you up with that feeling. Very very powerful feelings that takes you over. I know you and everyone who commented is reminded of that time and feeling and that feeling felt warmed your heart. Much love and respect to you good sir. Peace.

Yo Hennis, how was your weekend man? Thank you for the great compliment, my kids are the best thing to happen to me and I don't say that as a cliche they just helped me to see real life and the right way to be. I consider myself a good Dad and a better father than mine. Ill be talking to you soon my friend, peace.
