When I meet my maker

When I meet my maker he will lead me to the light.. I shall bid you farewell before I go when I cuddle you that night.. tho you won’t know and I shan’t say a single word to make you weep for me..so please don’t be sad and understand this is the way it has to be 

Tho in your darkest hours I shall always be by your side and if you ever loose your way in life, then I will be your guide.. you may know when I am close tho I don’t want to give you a fright but I shall gently blow a flicker on your candle flame at night..so don’t be sad and don’t be mad coz that would never do.. our memories are full of happiness to last a whole life through

Beyond the heavens up above you shall be with me again,  by-and-by my dearest, as the big ol’ moon does wax and wane.. then we will be together chasing those rainbows in the skies.. so don’t you grieve my darling, wipe those teardrops from your eyes.. In our living years we have followed the setting sun, since we first met in childhood when our romance had begun.. but never fear my darling when we kiss beside yon Pearly gate.. together and forever our warm embrace shall be out fate
