Is it not remarkable
To be able to utter the words
"I am innocent of any crime!"
Other than,
Making Love to a woman
I really didn't truly Love
Or,
Missing the best parts
Of my two son's
Youthful exuberance
Or,
Not telling those closest to me
How much I really Loved them
Or recognizing
That when I'm gone
How much I'll regret
Crying alone so often
Or,
Not having the money
To help a friend
When they were down
Or,
Telling a lie
When I didn't really have to
Or,
Holding onto
Petty little jealousies
Just because
I hadn't considered death...
When I'm gone
I'll have but one
Haunting regret,
That I didn't Love enough
And then,
Didn't give it away
To the world wide
Flow,
Of the music,
In life.....

Touching bro. A very expressive write T, all these ponderings and worries of what if and the sucky circling self questioning affect it has upon a person. Yes I can relate, but I feel like this is life and as much as we hope for the best and sometimes don't believe we give our best we are human, whatever that means lol. Still there is moments length where one can right the ship or at least steer it in an honorable direction, one that will one day touch upon what ails thee. Great write, and with everything this can dig out of a man or woman's conscience im pinning it as a fave. Peace brother.
