Effort strives for a goal,
Chasing a journey with intent.
 
Ambition runs at full exertion,
As purpose fuels the cause.
 
If victory isn’t the end result,
Discouragement can rise enormously.
 
Hopelessness shows signs of defeat,
With confidence experiencing a blow.
 
Sometimes, a pursued route won’t be found,
As destiny created a different trail to follow.
 
When one quest isn’t suitable,
Another path to success is usually discovered.
