When reality drowns you.

Where do you go
When reality
drowns you in gin
Searching the halls of darkness
Drinking in others sin
No mouth or mind
seeks such space
Searching through time
Another place
Where do you go
when the bottle runs dry
And your mouth waters
A desert storm
Tears to cry
Hopeless a place to be
Helpless a place to see
Which direction
Determines ill or strength
Of thee
Where do you go to be free?....

Dear Honorable A.O.M - Poetess Nardine Sanderson,
Great write, My applause, my love, my vote. This is very thought provoking and informative verse. Please accept my congratulations
Most of us go through our own life not really by understanding or knowing what we want. Actually knowing what makes us happy is not something that comes naturally to the general public. Making good decisions about what will make us happy is something we are all really bad at. Most good decisions in this area are due to luck rather than a judgment.
Many times in my life I have realized that  I am paralyzed by my own  dreams. A dream that I have created initially as a goal or target.  Over time it becomes an escape from what I believed to be the ordinary nature of my daily life. I realized that all of us suffer from this a little bit – even those who don’t have ordinary lives. That is why people have all the gear and no idea destruction. I realize that my dreams are the real problem.
I think we want a combination of satisfaction and fulfillment. The same feeling you get when you solve a problem, a crossword or cleaning up your house. Its the feeling you get when you achieve something.
Regards & Love

Dear willy, that would have to be the most meaningful comment you have ever paid respects to my writing, and i appreciate your honesty, your dreams are as worthy as anyone else who dares dream, some puzzles self solve, i guess if you loose sight of what you hold dear, you drown in the reality of the past, the now is now the future unknown, but the past is always the past, finding direction is utmost important one can get lost in others dreams becoming your own nightmare, love to you, nardine xoxo
