When Seeking Praise

Praise is the sign of showing success,
With the indication to express gratitude.
 
We don’t always get the required recognition,
As the compliments of others drive motivation.
 
Hearing those words stimulates the will,
Energizing us to keep producing glory.
 
Battling for approval for that joyous emotion,
Standing tall by experiencing high worth.
 
Even though acknowledgement is great,
Self-appreciation is what matters most.
