Poem -

When she dances

When she dances

I watch her dance
and sing
and laugh
i watch her have fun
with her friends
her many friends
i watch her talk
and giggle
and chat

i wish I was like her
tall and beautiful
popular and charming
but I’m not and never will

Everyday day I see her
everyday I wish
everyday I watch her be the person I wish I was

i watch her dance
and sing
and laugh
and butterflies rise
inside me
they tickle my belly
so all I can do is smile
but she doesn’t notice

I wish she would
just once
see me smile
but she never does and never will

everyday I see her
everyday I laugh
everyday I wish
she would smile back

becuase i cant help the
butterflies that rise
when she dances
and sings
and laughs

PLEASE understand this BUTTERFLY GIRL!!.....I don't PIN poems often..... But I DID pin this one for its poetic intensity!!....... the idea of loving from afar is BEAUTIFULLY delivered here..... the repetition is PERFECTLY placed...... the love so obvious...... the beauty of this write is in its openness and purity!!....... Kick ass début piece!!...... well done...... and...... WELCOME to COSMO!!....... LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo ??✴?
