WHEN THE LAKES ARE DEEP BLUE
We Take A Dip

When the lakes are deepĀ blue, we take a dip,
To wash away each foolish slip.
Life's game's afoot, with pebbles tossed,
To fiery pits, forever lost?
But then we dream of pearly gates,
(Though chatting with God, who's got the time these days?)
We licked the bones of what was scary,
Now lost we wander, truth a fairy.
In God's love zone, who knows what's there?
Maybe beauty with a flowing mane!
We're the truth, they say, elusive pets,
But who holds the leash? Nobody knows, you bet!
