Where Am I?

(Old Poem)
As I stand amidst my own shadow
I am a fool, for I have no image
Hence I cannot live within yours
You tried to cross between my lines
But I had no space between...
As I had once stood alone
Alone remains a part of me
It is not the will of my tongue
That it has lost its speech
My speech has doubts of its tongue
As you swallowed the pit of my quicksand
Thy breath sank forever beneath
Don’t blemish thy hands grip with sadness!
Save thy sadness to dance upon my grave
When thy eyes lose their courage
They fade within my vanished smile
Don’t be afraid to let a teardrop fall
If it wasn’t for that one teardrop
Where wouldst the ocean be?
If I could see thy face
Wouldst thee still see mine?
Where would I be if I found myself?
And if I do, where would I find thee?
