Poem -

Where are all the roses love.

Where are the roses love, the gardens overgrown with need
was it that we planted love
But didn't come to seed

What was in my eyes you saw
That made you drift away again
And leave the empty garden beds
To hold and stand the pain

what was in my heart you felt
that made you turn around and go
Another season comes to plead
but those roses never show

What was within my soul
I gave my breathing breaths in ways
all I did was speak of you
In the fondest days

What was in the darkness but all those shinning stars above
They to came to be of whiteness
And covered the sky with love

Where are all the roses hiding we planted them within the earth
and watered them within our trust
An all in loving worth

Yet all I hold is soil gathered within my hands apart,  an empty space
between where once had held your heart

What beauty do your eyes there seek, for I was not the only one
you left me in the garden lonely
beneath our cherished sun.
