Poem -

Where are we Belfast?

Like a pidgeon headbanging my way to oblivion
i walk in rhythm with the symphony of Belfast
Seeds of need that bring me here
And bring me there
Sometimes not seeds though
But curry chips of dispair
I grew up here born and bread
and yet
I still manage to get lost
feeling sometimes
Like a naive child
Lost in a maze of Modern men
And at other times
I dont feel a thing
Maybe thats normal
If so God help us
i realised one day
The sun will
always rise
And lifes beauty will dance
no matter if betrayed or not
Liked or hated
Its got enough love
To go to heaven and back
Or rather heaven is always
And heaven is
And when angels call
where are we
Ohh where are we Belfast
