Where are you sunflower 向日葵 (a poem for Brenda)

Where are you sunflower 向日葵 (a poem for Brenda)

Where are you sunflower 向日葵
I am seeking you

I am on a journey
Counting the steps along the
Great Wall of China

Where are you sunflower 向日葵
In the morning mist
Your ancestors call

I am on a journey
Through the ancient ruins
Great wall of China

At dusk
After the heat went
I lay upon the steps
Footsteps unto my soul

Where are you sunflower 向日葵
I am calling your name

Footnote
In Chinese culture sunflower means luck
and happiness.

I lay upon the steps
Footsteps unto my soul"    when you close your eyes you get to feel the footsteps...
