Poem -

Where The Heart Is

Where The Heart Is

Where the heart is, who can know?
For life will always ebb and flow
Yet you may find the place you seek
The earth inherited by the meek

Although too shy won't bring success
You'll need direction, must progress
Think clearly of the end right now
And life will bring you there somehow

This may sound weak to jaded ear
For lives are lived in doubt and fear
Yet simple ways are always best
With child-like trust you can find rest

Dismiss or keep each word and thought
For choices are what freedom bought
Yet make the right ones, why not now?
And find your heart out there, somehow
