A man was killed by Police...
He was out of town for work to put food on the table...
No one cares because, he's white...
He had a name...
Daniel Shaver a Son, a Husband, A Father...
Do we think about him?
Did it hurt our hearts?
Did it make us angry?
Did it make us tare the streets apart?
Did it make us hold up signs?
Did it make us want to be heard?
Did anyone hear?
They talk about prejudice...
White people are killed too...
He was unarmed begging for his life...
If more people cared before, maybe more people would be alive today...
Just another white man...
Who will protest?
Who will care?
Where is the justice?
Just another incident of murder with paid leave of absence...
People don't want white people to be prejudice...
But, when no one cares it shows the true prejudice...

There is another video where he's killed, clearly you can hear the cop has every intention on killing him...

The cop was giving several different instructions...

I had a Cop tailgating me for several miles before he passed me at high speed without his lights on...
Anyone else would have been in serious trouble...
Crazy!!
They have the licence to do whatever they want...
People get arrested, put on probation for the same things they do...
I think everyone deserves justice...

It happened in Tempe, AZ...
The cop was found not guilty and he filed for a pension...
They've killed teenagers and got away with it...
I would have said you're going to kill me you just want to watch me look like a clumsy idiot before you do...
They've been allowed to get away with so much for so long...
Of course, there's going to be devastation...
Many of these killings didn't have to happen...

Years ago cops were getting killed on the highway pulling people over...
Killings have been going on for Centuries even in the Bible...
But, we're not going to have a better World as long as hate, judgement, and and everything else that points to we are residing in Hell...
I don't know when Peace on Earth will be birthed, but it's up to us all the type of place we live our days whether many or few...
But, some lives cut short by the hands of another, that needs to change especially, if we really want change...
We have to start somewhere and it's never to late...

Outrageous, the police in US certainly do get away with bloody murder!! ...also here in the UK but not so much. I take your point about racism being a many sided thing sparrowsong and I agree. I think here though these people really have had generations of being told they are ...'less', I can understand their rage I think. The murder of both these men is a tragedy ...hugs ?

I don't know you know?
It brings me back to bad memories when I was a little girl and the Doctors didn't know if I would live past 4 years old...
I remember the Children's Hospital as much as I remember my Childhood home and how much I loved the outdoors but, hated going outside...
I had 2 Black Families on each side of me and every time I would go outside I'd always looked first and when the coast was clear I'd get on my bike and go for a ride well before I knew what happened 6 of the kids 3 from each family would grab hold of my Bike and throw me to the ground...
I was 6 years old and weighed 20 lbs...
One of them had a Dad who was a K9 cop and the Dog was on a runner and the youngest who lived there was being real nice that day and I didn't understand but, it was a nice change...
I didn't know it was a set up and she threw my ball that we were playing with and someone from her house released the Dog and it attacked me in my front yard...
They were all laughing...
I thought I was going to die that day...
The happiest day of my life was my Parents separated and I got to move out of there...
When I went back many years later to visit my Best friend that I haven't seen the harassment started all over again...
There was always a pack of them...
I still don't understand why so many it took to beat up a little girl...

I don't know why but your comment didn't come through in email, so glad I caught it in here Sparrowsong. God, you have had such a damaging experience no wonder you feel as you do!!! That's horrible. There are vile people everywhere, personally i believe the world is too heavy with sociopaths and psychopaths but they come in all colours. I do understand, there is a country that I hate, rightly or wrongly because of their cruelty to animals so I 'get' what you say. All that aside though, I think if I was black i would exist in a state of rage because of slavery because of segregation. Discrimination happens against all people and is perpetrated by all people, as you say. It's great to see you back on here by the way, hugs ?

I'm sorry all that happened but, I wasn't alive yet...
How is my responsibility to make them feel better when they hang up on me and I was covered in blood at 6 years old and parents we're very afraid of retaliation so they never protected me...
What was I supposed to learn from that at such a very young age?

It's so messed up indeed!
They wouldn't do it if he was an innocent white man which is a very good thing because, no crimes or stealing or any radical behaviour happens and stores and people are safe...
Though there's not justice for many white people there's also no false honor either...
If I was George Floyd and I was looking down I'd be laughing my ass off...
Knowing how he lived and if he had died any other way he probably would been looked at as a criminal...

This was simply an excuse for them to act this way...
Of course, they wanted their 15 seconds of Fame but, I hope when the smoke settles people will be prosecuted for their crimes and put on their permanent record...
I heard the communities that have been hit people aren't able to get any supplies...

I didn't used to be prejudice even after the way I was treated and I was the least prejudice person in my family but, all of this for years and years has definitely changed my mind and I'm now the most prejudice person that I know even my closest friends can't believe the change in me...
I am so done with all the crap from many centuries ago...

I want White History Month and a a National White sale day, a Native American Month and Sale Day and on and on and on...
Covid19 isn't dead...

I have talked to many close friends and they're aware of what I had to deal with when I was little because, they were there and they saw and they were little too and couldn't help me...
Some had nightmares about it for a long time...
They used to ask me questions when I would talk to Black kids I said they're talking to me because, there's no Black kids around...
They won't be seen talking to a white person when one shows up that's why they're always looking around...
The minute they saw a Black kid they were gone...
I could hear them and he was like no man she started talking to me first...
It wasn't true but, I didn't say anything I knew the rules...
I never wanted to become what I've hated but, I did and I don't know if I will be able to change back...
I used to get so mad at people that were prejudice and now, I'm with them and that's a very large pill to swallow...
I don't like it but, it's reality for me...
Some Black people are so awesome but, it's always so strange when are around like they get a hard time if they talk to me and I thought by 2020 it would be different, it's not It's just more crazy...
They blame us...
No white person got mad at me if I was conversating...
Just bazaar and life's too short and you can't change their prejudices...

Oh nooh the poor helpless man, it's said the so called superpower's police abuse too much power and have more power than police in many other countries and they can kill whites and people of any colour actually.
You wrote a great poetic convincing lament and rant and it's terrible if no protest was held for him and the cops weren't charged for his murder. What a shame, scary powers!! Kudos.
