Whether the weather

I don’t listen to what the weatherman says coz the weatherman’s not always right
Quite often what he forecasts for us Northerner’s never comes to light
We are not anyone’s north or south so how on earth can we believe whatever comes out his mouth?
When I wake up every early morning
I open my curtains wide
This is my observation what the weather is like outside
Who needs a weatherman to tell one what it’s gonna do
I simply look at the colour of the sky and if it is blue
Well then that shows the sun is shining high in the sky
Perhaps there maybe the odd shower but predominantly it’s dry
Of course if the sky is cloudy and grey I take my umbrella coz it could well rain that day
Our British weather is so unpredicableÂ
such a fickle come and go
It makes it almost impossible for forecasting accurate you know
I always carry my umbrella coz I never take a chance
and sod’s law is a funny thingÂ
It is a strange secretive circumstance
One who lives on an island is well-used to the whimsical weather
It leaves us hanging by a thread and is unforeseeable all together
So whether the weather be fine or stormy with heavy snow
It can do whatever it wants coz it will just come and go
We don’t care what the weatherman says if the weatherman says it’s raining
Us British people simply get on with it coz what’s the point complaining
