Which Am I

light and dark
good and evil
is this the way I always feel 
two halves never whole
a piece here
a piece there
never quite connecting
never quite feeling
always pulling
always ripping
two extremes 
Polar opposites 
I  lay in the dark begging for light
the light is to bright praying for dark
an angel to my left 
a demon to my right
neither letting go
neither giving in
a war inside 
this war is real
I try with all my might
to be whole again
I  search within myself
search for the one piece
that is truly me
open up to the world 
let it all shine in
