WHISPERING

There`s a whispering in the winter breeze

From a leaf that`s shimmering brightly amongst the autumn leaves.

It makes the cloudless heavens a beautiful delicate blue

As the land glitters with the morning dew.

Above the land is a warming glow

When the morning sun begins to show.

All the flowers spread their petals in the warming day

With a beautiful colour of bright array.

But  a cold nip is in the air

A warning that winter is on its way.

For the winter! the land it must yield!

Changing the view of gardens, forest and field.
