Whispering sweet mercy Jesus ~ a love poem

Whispering sweet mercy Jesus ~ a love poem

Her velvet lips
Caressed my own
I was taken up the river
The river of love
Where I swam in the waters
The waters of redemption
Her head nestled within my shoulder
That's when she whispered
"I love you",
When she slipped away
Permanently gone forever
I became the rock in the river
Letting her slip by, in the sunshine
By night fall we rest together
Her velvet lips upon my face
Whispering sweet mercy Jesus
