Prism of Life

Different, the nature of mankind

We see, without seeing past

We are all seeds of the same dandelion

Moving through the gales of life
 

There isn't one owner,

Of the pasture we all graze upon

Each seed that lands,

Is shone upon by the same sun, by the same ray
 

The same white light,

From the same source

Yet all we see are the different colors,

Divided by the prism of life
 

Prisoners,

Never accepting the similar differences

We could move past the past,

Into a world of united colors…
