Poem -

White lillies

In mourning.

Would the lillies still be of white
in mourning if I loved you,
Their colour seemed to fade along
With that empty purple hue,

I recall the day I planted them, also the night you left me behind,
And I find there's not much peace
Within my heart nor mind,

I gathered you would come back
And with all your heart so deeply say
That night was a mistake,  and be with me that day

But silence sits on the seat
just opposite to mine
And those lillies in the light
Of white, oh how they shine

I guess I loved you in the sorrow
And mourning you had faded them
I watched the grow to flowers
I watered every stem .
