WHO AM I?
Who am I?
Am I a question or am I the answer to it all?
Am I the dust which bares a name or am I just a name ?
What am I ?
What is Self?
What is Mine ?
Who am I ?
Who is the Self after all?
Ask the Self, for the Self knows it all.
Self is in the Self.
Only can I see the Self and only the Self knows
that I am the question and also the answer.
I am the myth and I am the legend born of it.
I am the wheel and also the fire.
I am the hunter and also the prey.
I am the weapon and also the hand that sways.
I am the greatest invention and also the necessity.
I am the one who built the city.
I am Steve Jobs, I am Barrack Obama, I am Micheal Jackson, I am Justin Bieber.
I am the finest of them all.
I am also a mother's only child that dies in the war.
I am Mother Teresa and I am also 9/11.
I am hell and I am heaven.
I am love, humanity, sacrifice, and compassion.
I am art, music, movies, and fashion.
I am everything and nothing at all.
I am the sun, the moon, the stars, the galaxy.
I am in it and I am it.
I am the universe and within me it is.
I am an illusion.
I am a myth.
I am the product of His divine wit.
I don't exist.
I am His word, I am His plan, I am His hand.
I live in a vessel. But I am not that vessel.
The vessel is just sand.
I travel through time.
I am eternal.
I am not bound to seconds, minutes, hours, days, years, or centuries.
I live in a place where there exists no chronologies.
I was not born and never will I die.
I cannot be killed nor be destroyed.
I am the part of Him.
I am the reflection of the divine beam.
I am powerful.
I am perfect as I am the manifestation of the powerful,
the only perfect and the only truth, The Supreme.
Why do I worry, why do I care?
Why do I cry?
Why do I feel the despair?
Worry not. I am just under a spell.
See the truth and truth will I compel.

A very thoughtful and introspective poem. The author has a window into the question we all have concerning who we are. It makes one think on a level beyond the physical and calls into question, Who am I? a great poem
I love this poem. It is introspective, asks the question that we all ask at one time or another, "Who Am I?" it is insightful and well written, I would give this poem 5 stars
Thank you so much for taking your precious time and reading my poem. And I am glad that you liked my attempt and appreciate those encouraging words. Thank you?
I like this! I love the constant contrast throughout - the knowing and not knowing, the everything and the nothing. I feel as though I can relate to it, not only in terms of creation, which I think you intended, but in terms of emotion and the individual as well.
Thank you Jess, for feeling my feelings through the poem. It's means a lot to me. And I am also grateful that you took time to read the poem and letting me know what you felt about it. It is much appreciated. Thanks ?
Great poem! It addresses a feeling or crisis rather, of self that so many can relate to. It captures the constant battle in one's head with the contrasting traits throughout.
Thank you so much Kalah, for taking the time to read my poem and understand the idea behind. I really appreciate it.??????
Offers a binary split between the Self-identity. The poem offers up a direct insight into the philosophy of the author but also asks the questions that should be asked.
