Who said

Who said

Who said anything about fairness,
Its all tyrannical in the scheme of things,
are we to depart early or stay a while.
Walk around the ward of the very young,
look at the dates on the gravestones,
then try to find equality,
try to make sense of the savagery,
comprehend it all if you can,
then ask yourself where is the one overseeing all this,
they don't discriminate with what they inflict on us.
They must be waving a big stick and cracking the whip sadistically,
and appear to have the last say,
in the game of chance,
were have and have not's,
some get a more fortunate journey than others.
Read the headlines if you dare,
watch the bulletins if you can bring yourself to,
then come to the obvious conclusion,
we can wrestle all we want but we can never win,
none of us know how,
or where and when,
nothings in chronological order,
we wont all reach our three score and ten,
all we can do is stay put and not predict outcomes.
