Poem -

WHOSE HAND?

Whose hand was it
Ripped out my heart
Leaving body so crippled
Sanity scarred

Whose hand is it
That nudges me back
When eyes close on a world
That is hateful, black

Who plays in my head
Whose hand unseen
Causing rage to erupt
One endless scream

Whose hand decided
To snuff out hope
Causing tears to fall
Till I drown and choke

All reason out
All turmoil in
Desolate place
Lonely, filled to the brim

And whose hand was it
That chained my soul
To the cold floor of earth
Let it go
Let it go

Cruel hand, break me
Fell me down on my knees
Bidding me stay
Ignoring my plees

Whose hand, whose hand
Unknown, unseen
Whose hand has the power
To set me free

Else bring back my treasure
Whose hand stole from me
Bring back my child
My whole reason to be
Whose hand?
