Poem -

Why?

Insidious and wretched, here I breathe.
unfit of the air I expel just beneath.
for the love I have squandered,
for the times I have wandered...

For the tales I have yet to bereave.

I am unworthy of such a luxury.
To live while better have passed.

To enslave my heart to beat 'till its last.
While all alone it wonders...

and fears...

and dreads...

the eternal question that my mind forgets...

"Why am I here?"

The fish of the sea

Wow! I love this John, has such an awesome feeling to it. I think we are all asking the same question in life and I am one to believe that as a catch 22 if we ask the question, it will not be answered. Very thought-provoking write.

Being Me

Such a heartfelt write deserves a heartfelt comment. Your are here John because YOU matter. You have something good to give the world because you are here. Our minds can deceive us, they are capable of creating the strongest prisons. Dont let your mind imprison you. Escape with your words and through the words of others. Hugs x
