Why

I just sit here wondering why,
The ones we love have to die.
Its part of life thats what they say,
I am sorry but I dont see it that way.
All the joy and happiness you made me feel,
Still to this day its hard to accept its real.
Here today and gone tomorrow,
I am forced to feel the sorrow.
The smiles you showed me showered me with you love,
Now they are memories as you rest with the good lord above.
The main at times is too much to bare,
"Stay strong" they say "You have others that care..
I do know its true but my heart is screaming
ITS NOT FAIR and still
I wonder why.
