Why are your Poems so Sad

Why are your Poems so Sad

They ask me

Why are your poems so sad?

I answer in a poem

Because the misty rains fall

on a spring morn.

And the moon sits above us

Sad and forlorn

Blue darkness comes

after each sunny day.

The lonely hours come

its always that way.

I think what you meant to ask is

 am I always so sad?

I whisper

Ask of the stars

What they have seen

Ask of the moon

What it has witnessed.

Greetings Jude,

I truly love, "the echos of an impeded and  tattered past," throughout the entire presentation of this poem. Giving prudence to your proclaimed possession, of the sorrow in your poems...Well usage of the earth and its elements and the confessions of the sights and scenes of your proclamation, by the sun, moon, sky and stars......Reason to be, (Sad),well explained......

Very well delivered,

Jimmy
