WHY ARGUE ?

WHY ARGUE ?

Why do you argue and why do you row ?
There's only two of you listening anyhow
Hurting with words with voices so shrill
Disturbing the silence with looks that could kill

The arguments you have are so petty and silly
Like whether to put the heating on as it's chilly
I wish you both could just stop and get along
Bite your tongues and force yourselves to be strong

Please don't argue with each other anymore
Life is too short that is for sure
