WHY CAN'T WE SWIM ?

I do you no harm and swim in the blue sea 
Why must you then go hunting for me ?
I have a family like I guess that you do 
Please let me swim then in the sea so blue

I see that you carry a weapon in the water 
No doubt trying to impress your daughter 
My family are precious can't you let us be ?
Please just let us swim in the blue sea 

My pleas go unheeded as I have been shot
Killed I am right there on this very spot 
No longer a family so precious are we 
Why can't we just swim in the blue sea ?
