Why do people believe?

Why do people believe in and practice certain rituals?

I ask myself the question are people that simple?

It really frightens me to look at people that are so naïve because that is how I used to be.

I'm writing to those who are quick to believe everything they read and accept it as truth.

I advise you to do some research in order to establish truth and then develop reasoning for your belief in that matter.

It feels strange writing this poem because I must also pose this question to myself as well. Why do I believe that I know the truth?

Well, I'm not going to give my followers the answer to this question since I must do this research on my own.

I, believe it would be difficult for anyone to phantom believing in something for a majority of their life-time only to find out they were wrong.

I ask my audience why do people believe in what they consider to be truth? Are you sure that you're not being deceived.
