Why do we love?

 It is because we are people we attract each other
 As much as we love each other
 That love is sometimes thrown back
 At our faces, we have crushes, we get dumped
 So why the hack do we love?
 To feed a soul that bites us back were it hurts mostly
 Or do just feel and know what love is
 I have, personally I admit that I have never
 Had my first love,
 Every time I see a guy I just see
 A forlorn shipwrecked brother
 Trying to test my soul
 And break my heart,
 Leave me on the crossroads
 Of destination lost as if
 I were never left forever
 Me, a woman broken
 I would be the woman with a broken
 Heart because of a person
 Who I never came with to this world
 Just a person I’ve met.
