Why God

Why God

Before this great Temple
I lay upon the ground
The sacred ground
Before this great Lord
I lay upon this earthย
This sacred earthย
In the blood of the lamb
With it's organs inside out
It's guts in my mouth
It's liver and spleen
Upon this head
The hip of the lamb
Torn from its placeย
With this blood on the ground
I, the transgressor
Mourn for the deathย
Mourn for lifeย
As the people trample through
I, the transgressor
Turn towards the Lord
With a mighty fist
With a pounding heart
With a blistering rageย
Towards the sky
And ask
Why God
Whyย
ย  ย Whyย
Why?
