~ WIFE ~

Sometimes
In you
An inkling
A notion, grows
Gnawing its way
Moaning
Into the miniscule
The idea of its manifestation
Frightens...
It's not the last wave
With
It's salty weight
'Nay
'Tis slightly sweetened
By hope
For it is in faith
Where Love is tested
And true strength
Is born
And so we dream
We dream a kiss so soft
Blazing
Such absolute
Totality
That we open our eyes
Gazing
At simplicity's
Beauty
The dream
Is over
But the Love
The Love
It lingers on
And grows
A seedling
That ever-extends
Throughout
The heavenly ballet
That is,
Us....

Hey C!!...yeah, I know this is a difficult write to comment on.... and still is..... It's because I took a LOT of poetic license here.... for instance the 'dream scenario' is a fleeting one... and doesn't necessarily present as giving up on one's dreams.... quite the opposite in fact...... this piece, in its entirety, is an homage to the power of love and how 'bumps in the road' within the confines of relationships can ALL be overcome so long as Love is a part of the overall equation..... So, No Worries Love!!..... in fact, I think we learn so much from the little bumps!!....... and I adore those bumps so long as you're apart of the 'Soft Landing' ~ YAY!! (yummy)....... big smiles......thanx for the insights sweetheart...... Hugs n Kisses!!......T xo : )
Thanx for the PIN JOHN!!........I appreciate it brother!!..... stay groovy......T xo
Thank you Miss Crystal...... Always a pleasure love....... hugs-n-smiles!!........T xo : )
My Dear Tony,
This is one of the most beautiful love poems, I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
"A seedling
That ever-extends
Throughout
The heavenly ballet
That is,
Us...."
These lines outshine Shakespeare's!
To top it all off, the perfect illustration you chose, I believe to be a beautiful painting by the well-known American artist, Daniel Ridgeway Knight, one of my favorites.
Touche` my dear friend. You have taken me to the stars once again.
Love and Rockets,
Larry xxx
