WILLIAMSJI MAVELI POEM : HANDS OF DAYLIGHT
Laylight Love

My night has passed
on the darkness of sorrows
my eyes are weary and tired,
Hands of the daylight
Wind Nurture the olive trees,
Draw a veil over the naked night,
Beckon aside from me
this glaring flash and dance of life
the time has passed when
I could Repay you for all that
I had received
Landscapes stretched,
Herd of Sheep on the hillside lay
Whiter than snowfall;
Shepherds close watch them,
Rain showers come and go
Then from the blissful sky
Angels come down to the valley
Singing their songs of bliss
