LOVE
Love can be like
a daydream,
Never-ending,
yet miraculous
Your fantasy
may come true
Love may not.
Love can disappear,
Fantasies can fade.
Love can cause pain,
Fantasies may cause sorrow.
Fantasies can be like dreams,
Sweet and unbelievable.
What more do we want
When love and fantasy
Both are tied up
Close your eyes and see me
there in your dreams;
hear the whispers of
the words I speak softly
from my heart to yours.
