Channels of Grace

Love and peace, a gentle start,
But grace unfolds in wider art.
"Means of grace," a flowing stream,
God's gifts to us, a waking dream.

Sacraments, by Jesus blessed,
Bread and wine, a sacred test.
Community, a gathered hand,
Sharing faith in this holy land.

Yet, grace extends beyond the wall,
An airplane seat, a stranger's call.
The whispered Word, a heart set free,
The Holy Spirit's mystery.

Prayer's embrace, a guiding light,
Through darkness deep, to morning bright.
No magic touch, but presence true,
God's love for me, and for you too.
