WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES......
Midnight's Bliss

Midnight's cloak unfurls its inky hold,
A canvas bare, where stars like diamonds gleam.
The goddess Night, with languor, takes control,
Her unbound hair, a cascade, moonlight's dream.
Wispy clouds, like ivory, soft and long,
Unfurl across the vast and starlit plane.
A gentle breeze sets silver strands to song,
Some heavy, hinting of a coming rain.
Others, like threads of moonlight, light and fine,
Drift as a lover's touch, a whisper's sigh.
Secrets slumber deep within their shine,
Forgotten dreams beneath the watchful sky.
The land below sighs, bathed in silver sheen,
A night for lovers' secrets, poets' rhyme.
The very air with magic seems to preen,
Woven from strands that mark the passing time
