WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES.....
A Love Lost on the River

A Love Lost on the River
This life, a fragile canoe adrift,
On currents of tears, a lonely drift.
Each stroke an ache, my spirit wanes,
Yearning for solace, whispering your name.
The sun bleeds gold, a dying ember's glow,
Mirroring the embers of love, lost long ago.
Azhalin Rajinikalini, Ana, where are you?
This empty vessel, adrift, without a clue.
The river widens, a vast and boundless sea,
My search grows frantic, a desperate plea.
The oars they churn, a rhythm of despair,
Alone I journey, a burden I must bear.
To find a shore, a haven to reside,
Where love's lost warmth resides, deep inside.
Life is a journey, seeking love's embrace,
But adrift on this river, I yearn for your face.
